Apple Spas falls on the 19 of August. In Russia it is time for gathering apples and celebration of a Great Orthodox Holiday "Transfiguration of Our Lord." People believed that during this holiday apples became magical. People used to make wishes while eating apples and believed that all their dreams would come true. All wealthy people gave apples to poor and sick people. Those who didn't follow this custom would forever lose respect of others.
